I m doing this because i ve changed the uvws of the one model. Next select the rendered frame window button in the upper right corner of 3ds max.

In the mental ray renderer this can be done with a composite shader and the wire parameter from the standard material. Diffuse texture element rollout the diffuse render element displays the diffuse color component of objects in the scene.

However it does render with bump and specular maps, and problably other maps, but i just ca. Around 7:17 the guy seems to chose diffuse color option.

If you pick the right output ( diffuse ), it will output the correct map into the specified folder. Diffuse render element without shading;

Multi pass rendering in 3ds max step 1. Right now, you can’t control individual channel.

Right now it renders pretty close to mirror reflections. Now press the render button.
